Barlow Park is approximately 22 acres in size and is located on the south side of Ripon. A regulation baseball diamond with fencing, lighting, bleachers, and an adjacent shelter with restrooms dominate the park. Barlow Park also has two horseshoe pits, three sand volleyball courts, four full-size basketball courts, a pavilion, two accessible restrooms, two shelters, playground equipment, picnic tables and grills. Approximately 10 acres of the park is in open space with grass and trees. Barlow Park is the center of the annual Ripon Fest.
Note:
Requester will pay a $50 refundable deposit in addition to the rental fee. Requester accepts responsibility for the actions of their group in the park and shelter house and agrees to leave buildings and grounds in as good of condition and appearance as when their group entered the park, or Requester shall forfeit deposit. Requester also agrees to comply with all City Park Regulations. Payment is due at the time the reservation is made. Cancellations within 60 days of reservation shall forfeit the $50 deposit. If you have any problems the day of your event, contact the City of Ripon Police Department non-emergency number at 748-2888. They will contact Parks and Recreation personnel to assist you.
A SPECIAL EVENT FEE WILL BE ADDED IF GROUPS ARE OVER 100+ PEOPLE. $100 RESIDENT $150 NON-RESIDENT.
